Everyone! Therapy can help you gain self-confidence and help you uncover your inner strengths. Therapy will not change the past, but will help you understand why you feel the way you do, and help you figure out what you can do to make the situation better.
Having a therapist is a different relationship because it is focused solely on YOU and helping YOU achieve your goals. Your therapist is ready to hear everything you have to say - the good, the bad and the ugly. You do not have to worry about "burdening" your therapist with your "stuff". Therapists are specially trained to sort through your issues and help you figure out positive and negative patterns in your life.
PsychE therapists charge between $100 per session to $300 per session, depending on the therapist. Therapy sessions typically occur at the same time each week for 45 - 50 minutes per session. The number of sessions depends on the issues that need to be addressed. Some people need a few sessions (6-8), while others may need longer (12+).
PsychE is an out of network provider, which means that we do not bill insurance directly. We provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company. Your reimbursement rate will depend on your insurance plan. Some of our clients choose not to go through their insurance in order to maintain their privacy.
PsychE has a variety of therapists who specialize in anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, grief and loss, dealing with medical diagnoses, family issues and relationships. We specialize in offering REAL therapy to REAL people. We are trained in holistic psychology and treat the whole person in order to attain lasting change, not just short term symptom reduction.
A psychologist is a therapist who has completed a doctorate degree in psychology, and has completed at least 3000 hours of supervised clinical experience in talk therapy. Psychologists do not prescribe medication. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who can prescribe psychological medications.
